Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Health Minister Satendra Jain have resigned from their ministerial roles in Delhi government.  

Manish Sisodia’s application against his arrest was rejected by the Supreme Court today afternoon. The Court asked the petitioner Manish Sisodia to approach High Court for bail and quashing of FIR.

Health Minister Satendra Jain is in judicial custody for a year in money laundering case.  

Aam Aadmi Party said both the AAP leaders are innocent. The chief minister Arvind Kejriwal has accepted their resignations to avoid interruption in work of Delhi.   

Both the ministers are innocent. But the work of Delhi should not be interrupted, so @ArvindKejriwal ji has accepted the resignation.

BJP, on the other, hand said, “earlier it seemed that cut and commission were the legacy of the one party. Now 3C is also for Kejriwal ji’s party- Cuts, commission and corruption”.
