USA is not looking to sanction India on purchase of Russian Oil in view of importance USA attaches to their partnership with India.

Despite sanction imposed on Russia, India is continuing to buy Russian oil to meet its energy requirements. India’s imports from Russian have grown so much so India has become the topmost buyer of Russian crude. This has been resented in Europe particularly in Ukraine.
