Kisan Mahapanchayat Held in Muzaffarnagar by Sanyukt Kisan Morcha

On Sunday 5 September, Kisan Mahapanchayat organised by Sanyukt Kisan Morcha is being held at G.I.C Ground Muzaffarnagar.  

Farmers have started coming from across the country for the Mahapanchayat to be held in Muzaffarnagar against the three central farm laws. The border of the district has been kept on high alert. Farmers have started reaching for the Mahapanchayat since morning. 


President of Bharatiya Kisan Union Chaudhary Naresh Tikait has reached the panchayat site of many khaps, including Choudhary Rakesh Tikait. It is being estimated that by the evening a large number of farmers will participate in the Maha panchayat.  

Chaudhary Rakesh Tikait, National Spokesperson of Bharatiya Kisan Union has announced that a big decision will be taken in the Mahapanchayat. He said that it would be better if the central government is not called the government of the Bharatiya Janata Party and it is called the Modi government. The three agriculture laws passed by this government. It is not in Favor of farmers. This law is a complete preparation to hand over the country to foreign hands. 

Tikait said that farmers have been sitting around Delhi for 9 months in protest against the three agricultural laws, but the government is not listening to the farmers. 

On the other hand, the administration has made elaborate security arrangements. In view of the movement of people, a police force has been deployed in view of the security. Police are stationed everywhere. CCTV cameras have also been installed for surveillance.
