BrahMos with indigenous “Seeker and Booster“ tested successfully in Arabian Sea

Indian Navy has carried out successful precision strike in the Arabian Sea by ship launched supersonic BrahMos missile equipped with “Seeker and Booster“ designed indigenously by DRDO.  

As a technology demonstration of indigenously designed ‘Seeker & Booster’, which is a highly important component of the missile system is a significant boost to self-reliance in defence.

The test of Naval version of BrahMos missile was conducted from a K-Class warship. 

BrahMos are a medium-range supersonic cruise missile manufactured by BrahMos Aerospace.  

The missiles can be fired from a variety of platforms, including ships, aircraft, submarines, and land.  

Several countries such as Philippines, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Egypt are interested in acquiring BrahMos missiles from India.
