Rahul Gandhi disqualified from Membership of Parliament

Secretary General of Lok Sabha Secretariat has issued a notification stating that Rahul Gandhi stands disqualified from the membership of Lok Sabha in view of his criminal conviction by Surat Court yesterday.  

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh wrote on microblogging site: We will fight this battle both legally and politically. We will not be intimidated or silenced. Instead of a JPC into the PM-linked Adani MahaMegaScam, @RahulGandhi stands disqualified. Indian Democracy Om Shanti.
