After Punjab, Now there is a Tussle in Rajasthan Congress

In Rajasthan, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Lokesh Sharma sent his resignation to the CM office late on Saturday night. In his resignation, he has expressed displeasure over giving political colour to his tweet.

The political turmoil in the Punjab Congress was not over yet, that the resentment growing inside the Rajasthan Congress is also visible to come out. In Rajasthan, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s OSD Lokesh Sharma sent his resignation to the CM office late on Saturday night. In his resignation, he has expressed displeasure over giving political color to his tweet.

In fact, amid the treatise of Captain Amarinder’s resignation in Punjab, he tweeted, in which Lokesh Sharma wrote, “The strong should be forced and the modest should be made proud, if the fence eats the field then who will save it.” This tweet of his was seen connecting with Punjab.

Lokesh Sharma has said in his resignation that I have been active on Twitter since 2010 and till date have not written any word outside the party line. He wrote to CM Gehlot that if my words have hurt you, then I apologize and if you think that I have made a mistake intentionally, then I resign from my post.

Here, on the displeasure of Captain Amarinder of Punjab, Ashok Gehlot has publicly advised that it is expected that Captain Amarinder Singh will not take any such step which will harm the Congress party. He wrote that Captain Sahib himself said that the party had kept him as Chief Minister for nine and a half years. He has served the people of Punjab by working to the best of his ability.

CM Ashok Gehlot has said that “I believe that in which direction the country is going due to fascist forces, it should be a matter of concern for all of us countrymen. Therefore, at such a time, the responsibility of all of us Congressmen increases in the interest of the country. We have to rise above ourselves and think in the interest of the party and the country.”
