He tweeted:

Unfortunately, many in India do not take Mahatma Gandhi’s name very kindly. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the political party that rules in Delhi and Punjab, even took the regressive step of removing Gandhi’s photo from Government offices last year. However, AAP leader and former Dy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia, who is currently facing law enforcement agencies, has recently been seen invoking Gandhi’s name. Some fringe elements in other political parties including BJP, have not been kind to Gandhi of late.
