Rahul Gandhi Resumes Bharat Jodo Yatra after Christmas and New Year Break in Delhi

After a brief pause owing to Christmas and New Year in Delhi, Rahul Gandhi has resumed his Bharat Jodo in Yatra from Delhi to reach Srinagar on 26th January 2023 where he will hoist the Indian national flag on Republic Day.

He will enter Uttar Pradesh around noon.

Rahul Gandhi had invited Akhilesh Yadav (leader of Samajwadi Party) and Mayawati (leader of Bahujan Samajwadi Party), two main opposition leaders in Uttar Pradesh to join his Yatra however both wished him well but they are not attending, perhaps to avoid any possible political fallout given parliamentary election is scheduled next year.  

Akhilesh Yadav, Leader of Samajwadi Party and former Chief Minister of UP (2012 – 2017) wished him success for his Yatra.  

Mayawati, National President, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Four times (1995, 1997, 2002 & 2007) & Ex. MP., said  

’’भारत जोड़ो यात्रा’’ के लिए शुभकामनायें तथा श्री राहुल गांधी द्वारा इस यात्रा में शामिल होने की लिखी गई चिट्ठी के लिए उनका धन्यवाद। 

On the eve of his Yatra, Rahul Gandhi released a video of his conversation with the famous film actor Kamal Haasan about the challenges India is facing and how the Bharat Jodo Yatra has become a revolution.
