Bharat Jodo Yatra, BBC Documentary, Hindenburg report on Adani, Income Tax search on BBC offices in India,…. and the list goes on to indicate that Congress has been on war with BJP over almost everything and anything.

Here comes someone called George Soros who “thinks” of a so-called ‘democratic revival’ in India that seems to have provided arch-rival Congress an opportunity to speak the same language as BJP.

BJP’s Smriti Z Irani, Union Cabinet Minister for Ministry of Women and Child Development (WCD) and Member of Parliament, re-twitted a message by Shashi Shekhar Vempati (ex-CEO Prasar Bharati (DD&AIR)) that read

‘’George Soros to Raghuram Rajan, BBC to the TIME Magazine – the confluence of interests between activists and global media needs to be understood on how Indian Democracy is being tampered with and how integrity of India’s Institutions is being undermined’’

Speaking his mind on remarks by George Soros, Congress’s Jairam Ramesh commented on the microblogging site saying, “Whether the PM-linked Adani scam sparks a democratic revival in India depends entirely on the Congress, Opposition parties & our electoral process. It has NOTHING to do with George Soros. Our Nehruvian legacy ensures people like Soros cannot determine our electoral outcomes “.
