UN General Assembly (UNGA) has passed a resolution demanding Russia to withdraw its forces and end military actions in Ukraine. This comes on the eve of first annual anniversary of Russia’s military intervention.

141 member countries voted in favour of the resolution while 7 opposed it. 32 countries abstained from voting.

India, keeping with its earlier trend and pattern on this issue, has abstained from voting against Russia and advocated peace through diplomacy and dialogue.
